Sinopsis

A documentary commemorating the Polish poet of Lithuanian origin. In the three parts of the film, director Juozas Javaitis and his creative team attempt to reveal the layers of the life and work of this unique figure of (at)thought: the sights of the poet's birthplace in the centre of Lithuania, the panorama of an epoch saturated with historical upheavals, and his spiritually complicated return to Lithuania after decades of exile.

In documentar "The Age of Czesław Miłosz", the Nobel Prize laureate plays the role of a diplomat, just as in his life, both because of his belonging to more than one culture and because of his undisguised sensitivity to apologists for ethnic division.
