Romas, Tomas and Joseph
Sinopsis
When a family of writers, Lyudmila and Andrey Sergeev, came to rest in Palanga, they didn't even imagine how their family's vacation would influence XXth-century literary history. In Palanga, the couple befriended poet Tomas Venclova and not long after, they introduced him to their friend Joseph Brodsky. In Vilnius, Brodsky for the first time heard from Venclova about the
Polish poet Czesław Miłosz.
Miłosz wrote, "We three poets did more than the politicians - we strengthened the friendship
between our countries."
